Unbalanced chicken

We have a rooster, he is about a year old, he grew up with his brother and sometimes they got in fights. I don't know if he hit is head but he is unbalanced, i posted about him a while back, but today we thought, which leads me to my post, can chickens have inner ear infections? Just wondering, he has in the past lost a nail, but that was it and is there any way to help him, he walks but when he is stressed or nervous it get worse.

Birds can get inner ear problems too. Many different things can cause unbalanced behaviors, from head injuries, mareks, botulism, ear infections, and being very thin to name a few.

He has had it most of his life, but now I just started worrying about it more i don't know about ear infections, but i did not see a head tilt, but i am not 100% sure.

Could be he sustained a head injury when younger and never recovered from it.
