Unbelievable find in chicken droppings....

 I haven't seen my chickens eat anything larger than a bug...then again they don't free range for very long. How in the heck though? Did the chicken even digest the thing...? :sick

That's amazing! I honestly am a little impressed.

LoL, I don't know about impressed but something, ;)

OMGosh! It looks like a snake! I'm wondering if it is, because, I've seen my chicken slurp them up like spaghetti! (literally) Anyone else?

It is a snake! Completely whole, head to tail. I know of people saying their chickens will kill snakes in the coop but I didn't think they ate them.....

I've seen my chickens eat mice and never a snake..

My inlaws chickens killed and ate a cardinal! It got in their coop and we were trying to save it but it kept flying place to place and hit a wall, stunned I guess, and when it fell to the floor - that was all she wrote. I was so upset but my father in law said thats about the 5th bird they had killed! My rooster has also eaten a few lizards and geckos, but I never found their bodies whole anywhere in his droppings.

That has happened to me actually. Just a couple of weeks ago. It was a starling and it trapped itself in the chicken coop at night so I decided to leave it figuring it would fly out in the morning once I opened the doors.. All I found the next morning were a pair of wings and feathers everywhere! These chickens are carnivorous!

YES! And it is the hens too, not just the rooster that kills.
