Unbelievable find in chicken droppings....

So yesterday afternoon I stepped out the back door to throw something in the trash can and of course my mooches come running. When they see I didn't bring treats, they turn around and as they are walking away, my rooster stops and squirts a runny pile on the porch. So of course I lean over to look, since he has been having alot of loose-ish stool lately, and I see what I thought was a massive worm. Turns out it was a completely whole, undigested and a full 8" long snake! Has anyone else experienced this? Why would it come out whole? And I wonder how long it was in there? I was under the impression chickens could digest meat and flesh..... Either way, it was certainly a first for me.

I can't even begin to imagine that!! I've watched my chickens chase down & eat snakes, frogs, mice & even a ground vole... feel like I need to monitor their poop a little better now.
