That is very cool! Who knew keeping hens was a patriotic duty?

I used to live in Tupelo, Mississippi and I was told that they were trying to encourage more people to raise backyard hens even inside the city limits. They were posting articles in the paper about backyard chickens and asking people to try it. One catch - no loudly crowing roosters inside the city limits, but as many chickens as you could keep in a humane amount of space.
