~Under The Moon~ A Wolf Roleplay

Echo's left ear twitched as a flake of snow landed on it, melting into her midnight black fur and chilling her skin. Blizzard had it much worse, she was sure, because he lay still with sleep next to her as snow dusted his fur. Echo's father grew weaker with each rise of the moon, and the she-wolf knew he didn't have much time left. TundraPack's future looked bleaker without him.

Skyuka had been out hunting and had managed to catch to fat rabbits, with the wind whipping across the frozen vastness, they hadn't seen her coming. She padded up to echo and blizzard, she knew the alpha was weak and failing. "here." She smiled placing a rabbit between them. "maybe some food will help." She took the other rabbit and passed several feet away aahs laid beneath a bush to eat

( Blizzard's an old packmate, the former alpha, and the one who's weak. Echo's the alpha female. )

"Thank you, Skyuka," Echo replied, a tiny, thankful smile forming on her maw. "I'm afraid that it won't help for long; he's very old."
Blizzard, who had been sleeping peacefully, was wide-awake. "Now, Echo," he muttered. "I'm fine..."
"As if," Echo snapped.

"Nice way to talk to your dying father," Juniper muttered to herself nearby.

North and river trailed behind the alpha, scenting three wind for a meal. "There!" River barked a couple minutes later, he had got the faint scent of moose and a day old trail through the snow. "this way."

Chase smelled moose too. He kept following the track. He started running faster and faster the more he thought about eating fresh meat.

Echo couldn't hear the she-wolf, as she was deeply concerned with her father despite her snappy comments. The old wolf didn't bother to reprimand his daughter, as he knew she spoke the truth.

( Has anyone ever watched the movie "A League of Their Own"? It's so sad.
