had to bring Miss Wednesday in on Monday I think due to not handling cold well. slow moving, panting, and cold to touch. brought in immediately and set up temporary pen. Mrs Brownstone came along as well to be a wellness companion. doing much better now. gave a bath couple days later due to matted/soiled feathers.

they make a mess in their pen eating. today I took a café bustello can and attached a feeder cup. much better and will save on food waste!!!

I have about every feeder and waterer contraption made. this works better in my opinion.

be well all.

That's a great setup.

Sometimes a day or two of subzero temps is fine, but after days of it, it can weaken them from being worn down.

We use a similar cage for our broody jail and I'd found these cute stainless steel buckets that hang on the sides. They can't knock those over or step in them.

But whatever works!
