Underdeveloped soft shelled egg

I found the one circled egg like this today I'm not sure what the cause of this is. All my chickens are a year old now. Then I have found two of these underdeveloped shell less eggs in the past 5 days. I need help figuring out what the cause of this could be. They free range all day and are cooped up at night securely.

It is totally normal, but usually it is a lack of calcium

What about the circled egg? It's almost as if it has a white film around it.

Thats the one I was talking about. We call them "rubber eggs" at our house. Usually it is a lack of calcium to build the shell, so I fed my girls some oyster shell for a while

It could be stress related. Assuming they're getting enough calcium, I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps happening.

x2. The only reason I used oyster was because it kept happening. I find that it hapens more often with high stress breeds too

We had one Americauna that regularly laid thin shelled eggs. She ate the oyster shell, but something else was wrong. I thought some probiotics would help. After several days of feeding her some yogurt, her shells hardened some. Perhaps the calcium in the yogurt was more digestible to her as well. When I stopped feeding her yogurt, eventually her shells would thin out again.
