Underlayment

Construction question for everyone. Can underlayment be used for walls of a coop versus the more expensive plywood. I was going to use for for the back wall/swinging door and another for the front and cut out a door.

If you are talking about the stuff used as a base for a tile floor, then I believe that would be a no-go. It would warp, and probably delaminate in a short time outdoors.
