Today all of a sudden one of our chickens died, it died in the /cage/fencing mid afternoon. In the morning it was eating and drinking perfectly fine but in the afternoon we found it dead. We were wondering what could have killed it, our first guess was a snake. could you please help me with your answers, THANKS:)

Lots of things can cause a chicken to die. Could be what you suspect, a heart attack, or something you might need an necropsy to identify. Sometimes chickens just "fall over dead", especially just before laying age, or coming out of a period where they have not been laying. If she was healthy, the rest of the flock is normal, and she is an only case of drop dead for no reason, I'd not worry about it.

what posture was she in? Sometimes chickens are found dead, on their backs - from a heart attack and they just call it "flip"
