Unexpected ducklings, different ages

This is how I set up my brooder so my oldest could see the newest one hatched and fluffed already the other just hatched

I was thinking I could try that with Bill Bill tomorrow while the big ones are running around the bathroom. He's still somewhat sleepy in between his bursts of weirdo energy. I've offered him food softened with water but he's not interested yet. He drinks some water but really doesn't seem interested in food. I figured with how much he's buying my face and neck he must be hungry but no. The biting is ridiculous. If I talk while I'm holding him he gets even more excited about biting my mouth. Maybe it's the duck version of kisses? If I do it back to him ("num, num, num" him with my lips) he peeps very happily and goes back to billing my face. He doesn't care about my arms or hands. Just my face, neck and ears. He also hit the "end" button on my phone earlier when I was trying to make a phone call. He sprinted over to the phone and whacked "end" with his bill, turned around and ran back up to my face.

That would be the smart option! But, since I now have 9 ducklings living in my bedroom/bathroom, I clearly don't always make the smart choices! ;-)

Quick question about the twin egg. I had been hand turning it since Bill Bill was big and was in his "no more turning" phase. Should I keep turning the twins' egg? I haven't turned it much since Saturday. Well, haven't turned it on purpose. I checked for veins/movement yesterday and set it back down when I saw both. I just took a quick peek without actually picking it up. Kinda held the flashlight against the air cell area while the egg was laying in the incubator (it's on its side). Still see movement and veins. Quite a bit of both actually. I wasn't sure if I should go back to turning though since they look crowded. I can't see any parts anymore so no idea if both are still alive. It's a relatively normal size duck egg though so I can't imagine two whole ducklings fitting in there.

How many days left til hatch day?

How many days left til hatch day?

I'm not completely sure. We brought this egg, along with a couple more that weren't fertile or died, in on 6/16. I could see a nice amount of veining that day so I was guessing it was at least 5 or 6 days along. Or are veins usually visible earlier than that? I remember thinking I could see a pulse in the veins but told myself I had to be imagining it because it seemed weird to see egg veins with a pulse. If my guess on day/age is close, I'd say he's around day 21 or 22 now.
