Unexpected Helper Today Photos

I thought I would paint the sides to the nest box early this morning. When I finished, I put the paint in the storage room. I tuned around to see Zoop the Tortoise happily trudging though my newly painted nestbox sides, that I had so carefully balanced on a couple of 2 X 4's.

This is the first time I have had Turtle footprints on anything!!

He is a Desert Tortoise. My brother inherited him from a client when the fellow passed away, the family said the tortoise was about 50 to 60 years old. I have had him almost 20 years now.

He has a great personality, for a tortoise that is... He used to come in the house and watch TV with the kids.
