Unexpected Predator - Update!

That boy is lucky your rooster isn't agressive. My three roosters are young, and have never attacked people yet, but my little dog, Cosmo, is deathly afraid of small children for some reason, so I really have to watch him around the grand babies......

I would have sent that boy a-steppin! Shame on him for tresspassing and chasing your birds. Where are the parents of these kids?!

SHEESH!

As far as I'm concerned, the neighbors and their company have redeemed themselves. I thought I had resolved my fox problem weeks ago but the mother of the boy just happened look out their window to see a fox carrying off my Madagascar pullet. They chased the fox off and it dropped the pulled. She has one minor puncture wound on her leg but no worse off from the attack.

Good job Mom!!!

I'm quite happy that she lived to see another day but not so happy in the long term solution. I thought I had taken care of the predator problem and now I have my work cut out for me, again. At least the pullet and stag are staying in the garden and out front close to the road. I think they decided it's much safer there than out back.
