I have a goose and I wasn't convinced she was a girl until she started laying a few weeks ago.
She's a Chinese White? I think? I am new but trying to learn a lot.
I am pretty confident she hasn't mated and she is less than a year old. So I am pretty sure her eggs won't hatch.
I let her lay about 8 eggs before I started taking some. (11 in total so far!) I was so excited! I wanted to see what would happen! Well now I have a nest full of unfertilized eggs and I'm not sure what to do next.
At what point do I need to take them out? Will they go rotten? I figure I could throw them in the compost but...
Thoughts??
Thanks
