Unidentified laying object

Maybe a Rhode Island White. I have one. She is very laid back. She is actually the bottom of the pecking order. She is also my favorite. She lays a light brown egg.

That is Naomi, a Minorca, She lays huge white eggs. Tends towards the dramatic but is a great forager. Big bird! The rooster that came from this group was drop dead beautiful. I lost her sister (and just nursed her though) a bout of egg binding (dunno if I am saying that right). The tips on this website saved her! Thank you all for the great post.
Here is a better pic:

Thank you all for the help! I have always wondered what she was, but I am not familiar with Rocks. She is a big bird (in the back is my Minorca, Naomi) and her eggs look very much like the white rock eggs.

The eggs are what throws me off and the ear lobes.

My white rocks lay big BROWN eggs and thier ear lobes are not as pronounced as this pretty girl is.

Like me and every one says, what a beautiful hen.

Both RIWs and White rocks have red earlobes and lay brown eggs, white leghorns have white earlobes and lay white eggs, so she is not a leghorn, and she is bigger that my RIW hens and they usually lay a pretty dark brown egg, so I dont think she is a RIW either, I agree with White Rock.

Naomi looks alot like my Lena thats supposed to be a Black Australorp. Her body shape is the same as your Naomi and not any of the Australorps I've seen. She doesn't have that bit of white on her head though. I guess I'll know when she lays an egg.

Also, Rhode Island Whites have Rose Combs. And they are a separate breed from the Rhode Island Red despite the similar names.

True but hatcheries do sell single combed "RIWs" I believe the got them from crossing up Leghorns and Rocks and such, you can see influences of both in mine. Mine are hatchery RIWs that I got for making sexlinks.

But that is true and needs to be taught more, that real RIWs are only accepted as a rosecombe breeds and are not the same as hatchery single combed RIWs and are not a white version of RIReds, They are different breeds RIRs come in both single and rose combs. A lot of people get that mixed up.
