So how did every one do today at the show?
I had a great time with it being my first show. I did good and only bought one bird, a white pekin duck mate for my little girl. I sold about 300 chicks! I was amazed at how many people were there, some from many states away.
I'm proud of my little silkies. There were only 5 there, 4 were mine. LOL. But i'm still thrilled that my black pullet got BB. My rooster met himself a new "girlfriend", that will be coming to visit him soon. I'm sure my pullets were jealous!
I also learned alot about my Giant Cochins from Jerry and Beth at Star Cochins. I was worried my birds weren't developing correctly after i saw their birds. Mine are somewhere in size between a bantam and the large breed. Come to find out its because they are still so young. They wont be huge for another year, I can't wait for that, they are such beautiful birds to be so gigantic!
