Well, i guess i am free ranging my ducks now: A deer has ripped my »Really cheap plastic fencing« to shreds overnight and the Duckies decided to try free ranging. All, except Limpy

Good boy, Limpy! He had enough of an adventure the other night, it seems! Hope that everyone is home safe and tucked in now with no wild ideas of repeating their adventure tomorrow

No way: That stuff is sticky! Just brought the Duckies in and their feed sounded like little suction cups on wet glass: plopp, plopp, plopp, plopp! - times 29
They were so exhausted, they ran straight into their house and were waiting for me to serve dinner. Let them loose today right after sunrise, so they had ~11 hours or mud-time.

I can imagine the noise they made running for the hill. Mine get so excited when they think they are getting into trouble they quack so loud and fast.

Weeeell! As soon as they were done with their cat-food frenzy this morning they took off exploring again and this time Limpy joined the crowd. - But they've promised me not to walk too far away from the house, right now they are scattered under those apple trees yo can see in the video.
Still can't get up the hill without damaging everything maybe in the afternoon if the pause in the rain persists.
