Hi everyone! This is my first time hatching chick's. I have had my first hatching and its not fluffed out. Seems the vent is clogged but not protruding. Just covered. I'm assuming the thr larger protrusion is the belly button area. Any advice would be wonderful. Keeps chirping loudly and drinks little. Won't eat. Pics included.

It won't need to eat or drink for a couple of days, although they should be offered to the chick and water should be encouraged. It's crucial to keep the vent clear. Backed up poop will kill quickly. Clean the vent and give it a close inspection to be sure poop isn't already clogging the cloaca. If it is, put slight pressure above the vent to push it out.
