There is absolutely nothing wrong with a nice flock of mix breed chickens. If that's what you like then by all means go for it. Variety is the spice of life after all
I absolutely agree. Different people have different goals and that is fine, and the way it should be. If we all had to stick to "approved birds," then the only thing there would be is red jungle fowl.
If I choose to lavish care on mixes, what is it to someone else? Why would it even be their business unless I go out of my way to make it so?
