Unknown chicken problem!!!HELP URGENT

My 8-month old silkie rooster was laying in the same spot all day.My mom went to check on him and he threw his head back and started crying really loud and shaking.I rushed him in the house and made him drink ice cold water and he did.Now he is just laying in my lap and still not acting normal but he isn’t acting as bad as he was.PLEASE HELP

Try to get some electrolytes and nutridrench in him if you have any. Also scrambled egg or egg yolk will give him a bit of strength until someone else answers with better advice! I hope he gets better soon!!

I wonder if he could have had a heatstroke? His poops look a bit abnormal to me but not sure how to treat. How is he acting now?

I was thinking the same things.Yes,his poop is a little runny.He acting fine now he ate a little bit

Update:He woke us up this morning crowing like crazy.I put him out with the other chickens and he’s enjoying it!!!I think he had a heatstroke or a seizure.But thankfully he’s back to normal now.Thank you guys for your concern and feedback!!

You're welcome! Nutridrench has saved many a chick for me. just don't overload him, a little bit now then a bit more in an hour or so.

I tried giving him the nutridrench and he completely flipped out and did the neck thing again and started crying really loud!!!!

He also has very raspy breathing

Hmm, have you checked him for any wounds or broken legs?

Is there any discharge from his nose? Any blood in his poop?
