The only thing I know is that upon death the birds are only skin and bones, like they haven't been eating. Even though we feed them every day. We wormed them twice, but that didn't help, medicated them, but again that didn't help, treated for lice and mites, but again, not difference. All of them are in the same age group, the same group of chickens among out large flock. Our flock consists of.
The oldest, elder birds (not effected)
Adults, 1 yr old birds (not effected)
Adolescents (are the ones in question that are being effected)
Slightly younger chicks (not effected)
Again, their all part of the same flock, and only the adolescents that we got at the same time from tractor supply are being effected. We can't figure out what is causing it, and need to send a bird to be necropsied. But I don't know where to send them in Rhode island. Any help?
