I posted the other day about my hen who was chased off of her nest. I brought the remaining 9 eggs and placed them in the incubator.
I found a bad egg this morning ~ stink!!! Had leaked into the water pan.
I'm not sure what day she went broody. My guess is (from about the time I started missing her) I would be at around day 17 - 19.
Since I had to clean the smell out, I candled them and see movement in at least 4 of the remaining 8. I removed them from the turner and raised the humidity. How critical is day 18 when it comes to removing them from the turner? Does a day or two make that much difference?
