This might be a long shot but I’m watching a friends chickens. One has a very poopy behind. She won’t let me near her. She’s a RIR about a year old. I’m not sure if she’s laid an egg today. There were two in the box. Multiple breeds who lay in different areas. I had read about chickens getting egg bound who walk funny with their tails down. She seems to be doing that. She’s eating and drinking. I was trying to wait and see if she pooped before I left. She just seems off for a chicken and thought I would reach out. I’m sorry I don’t have more info. I took some videos but I’m not sure how to post them

I'm sorry no one replied. I'm just seeing this.

How is the hen doing?
No problem! I tried to delete it actually. Found out she has bumble foot! I have a friend who is a vet tech and she is willing to go and help get the infection out today! Is there a way to delete a thread once you’ve created it? Thank you for your reply. I’m going to have to make a new post in a minute because I seem to have one of my own chickens who is acting very lethargic and keeps closing her eyes and seeming sick. Tough in the chicken world!! 😭

I think her chicken will feel better once this heals!

I'm glad you were able to get a friend to help you, I hope the foot heals soon!

There's no need to delete the thread unless you really want to. If that's the case, then hit the "report" button at the bottom of your first post, then fill in the pop up - tell staff/admin that you wish to delete the thread.

I'm sorry that you have one of your own not well now. I'll take a look at that thread too and see if I can make any suggestions. In case anyone is looking for that, here's a link.
