Is there a breed in Canada with typically short and squirrel tail? particularly squirrel tail.

Anything crested will do- small or large crest. do you know what were some of the breeds in that flock.

He could even be "red sex link" (specifically ones with white tails and necks, different lines go by different names) bred with something crested but need to account for presence of pea comb and crest.

Basically the possible breeds are limited by necessity of pea comb, crest, dominant white, squirrel tail, yellow skin and genes for increasing red pigmentation- *even the hen* shows traces of genes that help with reddening the birds- she's silver yet has red blush showing through, one other reason I assumed they were related, but perhaps it's a breed trait they both share.

Not that I know of... They had a bunch of crosses and/or mixes there. RIR, Welsummer, and a whole load of mixes.Probably some EEs.

i think it is a buff laced polish, with a cubalaya and some leghorn and rir or some thing but he is soo beautifull

and about the hen may be a leg horn .rir and some thing can you get a pic of her
