Empire was struck and landed on his side, his ribs hurt, but he wasn't quite defeated yet. He lay motionless for a moment. Then he got up and jumped on Willow, then bit the back of her neck.

"Hey!" Spring barked, and tackled Empire "Why would you do that?!" He yipped, confused as to why someone would want to hurt the alpha.

Willow used her one of her forelegs and clawed at Empire's side savagely. She was infuriated with this loner and was going to let him know.

Zeke ran in and skidded to a stop. Seeing that Willow was in a bad position, he grabbed Empire's back leg and pulled back as hard as he could.
