Zorro glared at Storm. "My father is the Alpha, do you honestly think he had time for me?"

Star heard a growl and sped up.

Meringue could smell another dog coming but didn't move.

Sway saw Meringue and, questioningly, continued walking toward her, but more slowly. Sway wasn't posed for battle, she just looked genuinely curious,
