Here's a couple fun facts for you guys.

#1. The ancestor of the chicken is the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

#2. Wolf, & coyote DNA only differs by 4%.

My understanding is birds branched off way after t-rex was dead, but that they were once very closely related.

I know Allosaurus and Spinosaurus branched off at about the same time birds started looking like birds. Maybe T-rex did too.

I am not trying to be scientific, but I once read that two jungle fowl mated and created the chicken, the egg came first (in my understanding)

In case I might have a long life, I try to use my brain as little as possible. So without taxing my brain ,I believe the Chicken & Egg arrived in a dead heat. Why not? The grocery stores have lots of eggs( cartons) for sale. They also have whole chickens and chicken parts for sale. Just eat what you prefer and enjoy it.
