It disturbs me to see so many people on this forum discounting the terrible threat of TB from drinking unpastuerized milk. The only safe raw milk is from animals that are tested on a monthly basis. TB from milk can affect the lungs or it can show up as a horrible lymphatic form or cause meningitis or destroy the bones. It won't show up right away---it isn't like diptheria or typhoid, which you could also be giving your kids with the raw milk---it takes a long while and may only become symptomatic when and if your child's immune system is otherwise compromised. One can't tell by the general cleanliness of the dairy, even the cleanest cows and the nicest farmers can have tubercular cows. TB kills. Don't risk it!
