Our duck hatched 3 eggs 4 days ago. Since then we have moved them to a new house and run away from the other ducks.
Since moving she has not stopped making a noise, she is so unsettled. She's seeing the other ducks who are completely free range and she's stuck in a small run (can't make it any bigger). She's not the tamest so I don't think that helps either.

Any ideas of how to settle her please? I obviously don't want to let them all out but don't want to take the ducklings off her if she's going to be stressed out.
How long until I can take them off her and let her out and keep the ducklings locked in until they are bigger?

I do not understand why she can't take her ducklings out with the others. She will protect them from the others if that's what you worry about.

Some drakes can be a danger to ducklings, but Personally I leave my duck hens and ducklings with the flock. The mom actually will keep them just a little ways from the other ducks (some times the 'dad' is included in the sub group). Depends on the mom if she takes them to the pond. I try to get them to wait until about two weeks by keeping them in the fenced area.
If you want to make sure your drakes are not a danger to the ducklings I think 2 weeks old would be good. I have heard others caution to keep young hens away from drakes until 4 months, but I have never seen a mature drake try to mate an immature hen.
