There was a post on FB with this beautiful rooster. I and a few others commented on wanting eggs from this bird in the Spring. They only comment once to the first poster saying “okay”

They posted in both a New York poultry page and a Texas page. I believe they might be a scammer based on searching their profile.

My question is, anyone know if this really is a silver duckwing araucana? Or if that’s a real thing? Because id like to find a real breeder if so

The top photo could be photoshopped, the feet are always the hardest and they are cropped out. Also the tail feathers of the silver one look to have a white edge to them and bits that were over erased. Just my opinion. I've photoshopped lots of chickens.

It actually says:
"we have a silver duckwing & gold duckwing Araucana that have started laying"
So that's about the hens.

and:
"we have a silver, gold, & a lovely isabella duckwing cockerel"
That's about the roos.

The front and center roo is an isabel. I don't know about the duckwing part.
The photo does look shifted to more blue scale.

But Isabel is a real color.
I have some Isabel Ameraucana hens. I saved a picture of what the roosters look like. I'll go find it.
