The home brew kit is definately on our short list. If you can find hops rhizomes- that's an awesome gift! You don't need alot of space since they grow vertically. If you're not going to use the flowers you can sell them

Every time family comes from out of state they bring us a case of "2 buck chucks" from Trader Joes. Where else can you get 12 bottles of nice (different kinds too!) wine for under $40?

Great ideas, everyone. I've always wanted to make homemade marshmallows. Maybe I'll make my own beer for next year. But the homebrew kit is a great gift idea.

P.S. We love two buck chuck (which is now three buck chuck, but still well worth the price)
