Golden is dominant, brown is incomplete dominantYou're welcome. I think that golden is actually incomplete dominant, but not 100% sure. And the Pharaoh/wildtype seems like it may also be incomplete dominant cause most white coturnix have spots of that color. I'm just starting to learn about color genetics.
Showing white on chest Its just a tibetan tuxedo not sure why anyone thinks this bird is abnormal. You cross range, rosetta, tibetan, or golden over a recessive white bird and you will get tuxedos.
With pharaoh friend, unusual one is on the right
Show yellow face
Another shot
Holding to show the white on chest better
Golden is dominant, brown is incomplete dominant
Its tibetan x white, it is one of the most common color combinations there is. If you dont have tibetans then your pharaohs have been used as cross birds in the past. Breeding tibetan x tibetan will not generate tibetans, so you use pharaoh x tibetan to create tibetans.
I'm confused as to how Tibetan x Tibetan breeding wouldn't generate Tibetans...
E is an incomplete dominant.
SF Tibetan x wild type could produce normals and Tibetan coloured offspring....so how would E/e X E/e NOT produce Tibetans?
