Unusually sleepy pullet during the day! URGENT

So, checking on the chickens this morning, they were drowsy and drinking. however the buff still had glistening discharge. I cleaned her beak and smelt the discharge: it gave off a slight odor!
The only thing I could relate it to is like the scent of a piercing? Not an infected one, but I recall when I had my belly button piercing, it had a similar scent after healing when it wasn’t cleaned throughly.
Anyone have any insights to this? Online I did not find positive news. But it would be weird since the incubation period for the diseases I was looking at, is much shorter than how long she’s been under the weather

Thank you for all the information! It’s only supposed to get to the 40’s tonight, so I can go move our pig blanket (heating pad) in with them, just in case she wants to seek out heat, and turn off the heating lamp. She had been sleeping during the day before the red light went out, but maybe it was an okay amount before and the light made it increase.

Edit: you were correct about them being up! it’s pretty late at night and they were playing in the dust bath.
I’ve turned the light off and hopefully they can get a good rest tonight!
Do you believe I Should I continue the medication, just in case? Is there a danger in doing so?
I apologize, I did not see your edit until now. After reading some of the following posts I'm so sorry to hear that she's begun showing signs of sickness. While she still looked healthy and the sleep cycle was just a thought from a few of my past experiences, I figured it was easiest to start there... or at least something else to add to the list of things to consider.

How is she doing?

They will be up eating/drinking at all hours if they have light.

If the light were the issue, then all the chicks would be as lethargic and hard to wake during the day like she is.

I would continue to give her the drench for 3 full days along with her and her flock drinking the mixed Corid water. Corid is mild and won't hurt them.
Not necessarily. Have you ever shined a flashlight on a corner in your coop and had only a couple pop off the roost and head for the feeder while the others continued to sleep?

They’re awake and running around. buff still had glistening discharge. I cleaned her beak and smelt the discharge: it gave off a slight odor!

I also observed her sleeping and think I heard a slight occasion wheeze. Idk if that’s just how they sleep, but it seemed like she was having trouble taking air in when in certain positions. Or maybe just uncomfortable/getting comfy.

Odors usually worry me. Have you checked the inside of her mouth for any yellowish spotting or anything off?

EDITED*** Sorry, I'm on a smaller screen and my second paragraph didn't make it into the post: Coryza tends to come with nasal discharge AND a funky smell... if her eyes start to look bubbly, it could point to mycoplasma. Definitely go with @Wyorp Rock's suggestion, give Tylan50 as it's used to treat upper respiratory infections.

When I was looking in her mouth to give the first drench dose of corid, I didn’t notice anything that seemed off, though I was not looking. I will take a look next time I am out there. They were roosting asleep when I went out last, both woke up and looked at me immediately when I touched the barn stall door.

Is it okay to do the Tylan50 while she is still being dosed with the corid?

Just checked and they do, I will purchase in the morning to have on hand.
I have vetRx. Do you think I should put some on her nose?

How many chicks?
I'd start the worst ones on the Tylan50. Dose is 0.25ml per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days.

Odor is not a good thing. Look inside beaks for mucous or lesions, inside ears for infection.

No I haven't.
Mine don't pop off their roosts when I move around at night with a flashlight, but they all certainly are awake and aware of me. They snap awake if I turn on their cameras at night too (infrared). Very much aware.
The only time I've ever had a bird continue to sleep and I couldn't really rouse when I was around during the day or night was when they were ill.

Yes, you can give the Tylan with Corid.

Just two pullets are housed together right now, indoors while they’re growing and dealing with whatever is going on with their immune systems. I have 5 other hens in an outdoor coop and run.

What do you think of the possibility of gapeworm causing (at least some of)her symptoms? Her breathing while asleep fits nearly all of the symptoms, I have not noticed anything in their poop, but maybe I’m just missing it or unable to see it. It definitely looks like she has trouble breathing when she is relaxing her neck/isn’t holding her head up.

EDIT:: just checked in on her. She was sleeping, but much more alert than when she was sleeping before. Nasal discharge is minimal, clear, and only from one nostril. Only the leaking nostril smells slightly. The other side does not seem to have any odor, strangely. Nothing (foreign objects, shapes, or colors) in eyes, ears, beak, or what I could see of throat, which was minimal.
She’s up drinking and eating now.
Attached photos of her falling asleep in my lap.
Other chick housemate has slight clear runny nose and little sneezes.

Well, it's a good thing that we all have had different experiences. It's one of the very things that has led me to join this community. I like to hear about how others handle the things I have experienced... I also like to learn about the things I have yet to experience.

I'm obsessed with problem solving issues whether it be with software/web development (I'm a software engineer) or chicken keeping. I seriously can't help but chime in with some of my own experiences - please forgive me. :)
