So, checking on the chickens this morning, they were drowsy and drinking. however the buff still had glistening discharge. I cleaned her beak and smelt the discharge: it gave off a slight odor!
The only thing I could relate it to is like the scent of a piercing? Not an infected one, but I recall when I had my belly button piercing, it had a similar scent after healing when it wasn’t cleaned throughly.
Anyone have any insights to this? Online I did not find positive news. But it would be weird since the incubation period for the diseases I was looking at, is much shorter than how long she’s been under the weather
