Unwell chicken

Live in streaky bay south Australia. Got them from a local farmer.
When my partner and I went there there was a rooster that looked in similar condition to my Betty (sick chickens name)! But she said he was injured from a duck protecting her young. I didn’t really think twice about it to be honest but now I’m wondering if it’s the same case
I'd be willing to bet she sold you sick birds.

6 for about 2 weeks. The youngest and smallest of them I have had to isolate due to her deterioration in health. She wouldn’t be any older than 2 months and she’s an ISA Brown.

She has had roundworm and I’ve been desperately trying to treat her with nilverm. She was also a wobbly on her feet but the the last 3 days she is unable to weight bear at all falling to her right side. She has diarrhoea, and a little lethargic, however has no loss of appetite. I’ve been feeding her grower feed with the antibiotic in it but she’s just not getting better.

Okay thanks, could I just use hydrolyte?

I’m unsure on her age, she’s quite small. I’m thinking no older than a couple of months maybe? She’s eating and drinking well, no bumps on the bottom of her feet, eyes are fine, no mites or lice that I can see and yes pretty sure she still has worms. I haven’t seen any today however her dropping don’t look healthy. The last time I saw round worm in her stools were 2 days ago.
I’ve noticed today’s she’s shaking quite a lot and lethargic, but still trying to get up on her own.
Can you post some photos of her poop?
The Nilverm - you used what I have pictured below? That should take care of the roundworms.
What is your active ingredient in your medicated chick starter?

You may have been sold sick birds, it's very hard to know. Can you call whomever you got them from and ask if they had been treating the birds for any illnesses or used any types of antibiotics?

Marek's does cross my mind with this girl, but having a roundworm infestation at a young age, I would consider treating her Coccidiosis. Ask your vet friend what you can use with the medicated feed you are using.

This poor lovely is in bad shape. Her body language looks like Marek’s, but it could be something else. I am not the expert on treating worms, but I believe valbazen treats all of them.

I think hydralyte might be good, but is it effervescent/carbonated? That might have problems if it’s own.

Let’s get some help for dealing with the worms.

She is in bad shape I feel terrible for her ☹️ After doing some research I was concerned it’s Mareks as well. She’s showing very similar symptoms, minus the loss of appetite. But her legs and feet are crippled like something is affecting her central nervous system. Not nice

Thanks for everyone’s concern and advice, it’s much appreciated
