Seems alot of folks hatching them are ending up with alot of cockrels like i did. Now if i could track down a local breeder with an excess of hens id be a happy camper

Why dont they ever have swaps up North? We live by Crookston, MN and its a bit too far to go 6 hours south ...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................... ya, know; I have enough room to do one here, and I have a commercial parking lot. I also have a business next door with a commercial parking lot, and I bet he and I could work out a deal on a Sat or Sun.

I made it to the New Prague swap. Was a lot bigger than I thought. But I was a little dissapointed with some of the vendors. They were a lot of birds that were crammed into small cages and did not look that healthy. But that was just some of the vendors, others had beatiful healthy birds.

It was one of the pit falls that I was coming into...that and the bird testing....what if you don't require it, do require it...what do you do wiht the paperwork afterwards...I know one sale I go to does not require the paperwork, all the rest do!!!!
let me know what you come up with (if anything)...It's something I would really really like to do, but have come into a road block...
