We were thinking no babes in this bator, woke up on day 21 and watched our first chick pip and zip in 15 minutes! My little girls and I just couldn't beleive it, what a miracle. These are welsummers from Christine Ritter. I watched them through the night and we now have 12 chicks out, one more pipped and one still not doing anything. That's out of 19 eggs!!!!!

What kind of incubator is that? I don't think I've ever seen one.

Thanks folks! You all have been a great help and inspiration...not to mention fellow chick addicts.

My incubator is an R-com 20. Had issues getting it up and running but now is working great. I have 12 silkie eggs going in tonight! Evil silkies have invaded my home as well.

I'm off to see if any other babes have made it out, more pictures tomorrow
