UPDATE 3/24/10 mrs. red is making another nest.due to kindle 4/3-4/9.

Folks this thread has had 2 major cleanings and we are done with that. Any further posting of negativity regarding the decision to free range will result in the poster getting a 2 week ban from this forum. NO further warnings will be given.

There are many husbandry management formats to follow with any livestock. The decision to free range or go with confined housing belongs to the owner. Insinuating that free range means they have no shelter, no care, or lack of food or water is simply inflammatory. In all confinement styles there are those that meet the other needs exceptionally well, and those that don't. Generalizations are not helpful.

Cole you have the sincere apologies of the staff for these interruptions. I hope there will be no more but I promise you if there is they will be brief.

To all please use the report button rather than reply to inflammatory comments.

We have two sets of Jersey Woolies due in about two weeks if all goes right and we are super excited!

I love that red doe. She looks like a rex to me. Gorgeous! Is her fur soft and supple? Do the buns let you touch them, etc. or are they more wild due to free ranging?

Thanks for the info (and pics) lcw
