UPDATE: A Button Quail BABY - See it on hatch cam!!

We're up to 6 babies out and one very close to it - the one right in front with the huge zip.

There were 33 sent if I remember correctly. We broke one unwrapping

and put 32 in the bator...

These guys are instant gratification - once they start zipping they are out like popcorn. We went from 1 out and a couple pips to 6 out in about an hour!

OMG they are sooo cute

and the cam is fantastic! Wish I could hatch some of these but I would not have a place to keep them. :| I will just have to live vicariously through my friends here on BYC.

Aaaw they are precious!!

I just looked at them and two were pecking at a hole in the side of the 'bator.

We're up to 8 chicks out and 3 more well on their way...

These things are the cutest babies ever! They are already running around in there, pecking at stuff - they sit for a while, then VROOOOMMMMM they run about 90 miles an hour for 6 inches, then stop and take a rest.

They also like playing 'king of the water wriggler' - it's like watching kids trying to push each other off and see who gets to stay up there the longest
