AMEN!!!

But I think she wants to go Home. She's saved and ready to go. Her birthday is May 28th. I told my Mom, what better gift to recieve on your birthday, to go and meet our Savior Jesus face to face. Wow.

AMEN!!!

To be pain free and see all your family and friends that have gone before you...now that "is" the perfect Birthday gift!

Sending happy thoughts and hopes your way,
Liza

O.K. The Dr's have given the family until the 24th to make a decision. They have told them that her brain is gone and she will not come out of this. Her body is swollen and blue. They have to make a decision on the breathing tube. The Dr's will take out the tube on the 28th, her birthday, if the family does not come to the conclusion.
If I n=know my cousin's the decision will be made. They know their Mom would not want them to keep her in the state that she is in. She is 90% brain dead.
Mom told me to come and see her but , I can't. I would rather remember her the way she was.
The Dr's said they can do 2 surgery's, a tracheotomy (?spelling) and inserting a feeding tube into her stomach. If she lived ten years after the surgery, she would be the same that she is now. By law they can only leave the breathing tube in for 14 days. Dr. said after this length of time that infection could set it, which would make matters worse.
Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray for the kids. Pray for strength and understanding.
Thank you all and God Bless

This is the very same scenario we had at the end of my precious mother's life. We mercifully let her go by removing the ventilator. She was very clear about her wishes, and we knew, without a doubt, that she did not want to be kept alive. The days leading up to our decision were just days she spent trapped in her body, away from her Saviour. God bless you all. And please don't feel badly about not being able to go and see her in this state. She understands. May she be peacefully delivered into the arms of the Lord.

I'm so sorry thechickcrew. :aww This must be so hard on you. But what a wonderful gift to be able to meet Jesus Christ on your birthday! Wow!

This is an update on my Aunt Nancy---- The children had decided to have the breathing tube taken out today. No one but the children are allowed at the hospital. Please pray that she will pass on into Jesus' arms quickly. I know that it will be hard for the children to watch her gasp for air. I pray this doesn't happen. Thank you and God bless.
