UPDATE!! Blind Tiny moved into her Townhouse!! **LOTSA PICS**

I don't think Tiny is getting a roommate. The only interaction Tiny has ever had with the other chickens is when she was being pecked. She's always slept alone since she couldn't get on the high roost with the others. She was fine sleeping alone in the townhouse last night.

This morning Sweet Cheeks followed me into Tiny's run, she took a look around and then when into the townhouse for a bite to eat. Tiny was in there eating and Sweet Cheeks was fine for about 2 minutes, then she decided Tiny had enough feed and PECK!!! Tiny will always be at the bottom of the pecking order. I built her townhouse so she would NOT get pecked. I guess she'll be on her own from now on.

Awesome! Looks like Tiny is quite happy!!

Tiny will be just fine alone. She's probably the intellectual, loner type anyway. And she's probably going to get quite a bit of satisfaction from watching her "wicked stepsisters" through the window from her private spa residence. You guys did a great thing!

Yeah, I think I'm just going to leave her by herself. She seems very happy by herself and she's not on edge all the time like she is when she was in the big house. She's free to eat when she wants and lay in the sun without the fear of some mean girl coming and stepping on her. I think she's fine.

Maybe she could be roomies with a small gentle bantam, or even a diffirent breed of bird. My friend has these little quails that are super friendly and very small.

I wouldn't want her to be lonely sounds like she had a rough time as it is.

oh.
do you think she would lay?
im pretty sure she would.. but she would be laying them anywhere i guess..

Someone actually posted on this site that there was a study on blind hens and they lay MORE than other hens. She'll probably lay where ever she's standing at the moment.

I like the idea of a bantam or 2. Anyone in the Triangle area in NC that needs to rehome some bantams I'll take them.
