Update: Chicken still quarantined, still not sure what's wrong.

Let me know how she does! They usually recover as long as they get the medicine, so here's hoping she pulls through :fl

Here's a link to my previous thread concerning Chewbacca.

She seems to be a lot better. Her beak isn't as runny. Her main problem, however, is her eyes. She keeps them tightly closed, and when I open them, they're very watery and full of bubbles (mainly only one eye-- I can't tell if there's a real problem with the other or not). She's still eating like a champ, and even though she isn't too active, she never had been before and she's getting to be quite feisty when I hold her!

Does anyone have any more thoughts on what could be wrong with her and what I could do for her?

I have been going threw the same thing where did you get chewbacca ?
I ended up having a State vet thing it was Lt A upper resp but it ended up being http://www.merckmanuals.com/vet/pou...lisepticum_infection_in_poultry.html#v3342226

That link and this link are awesome http://www.merckmanuals.com/vet/pou...lisepticum_infection_in_poultry.html#v3342226

I don't know if it would be from the place where I got Chewbacca. I'd had her about a week and a half before she started showing symptoms.

Turns out, my feed store doesn't carry Tylan. I'm going to call up some local TSCs to see if any of them carry it. If not, I'll order it online.

I use thefind.com for searching for medication and things it shows you all the stores that have the item and prices .
Good Luck

where did you get your other chickens ?

Sounds like she was always a carrier and the stress from the move caused her to have symptoms again. I would never get birds from that place again and you may want to give them a call and let them know what happened - they may not realize they are spreading the disease. I hope your other birds weren't exposed but if you put her right in with them chances are they were :(
