I posted yesterday stressed and concerned with my 11 incubated eggs which I saw 7 moving right before lock down. None moving, none pipping.
UPDATE:
Today day 22 I had one Pip at about 7:45 this morning. I have seen a little movement out of it today.
I had the idea to stick my computer speaker with chirping chicks right on top of the bator. Each time I did I would see that lil piece of shell lift just a lil. Pretty Nifty. I left it on there for like five hours today hoping it would unzip. Not so much luck with that.
Hope I have a baby chick in the morning when I get to school and more pipped. I must have a batch of late bloomers. I think you all were right about that being the case due to the 1/2 degree temp drop at night sometimes. Those foam incubators are tough to regulate in a school environment.
Now I am just waiting. Hard to distract myself.
