    So you guys know I have been wondering when my turkeys were going to lay? Well, I think they are...!!


    Look what i just hatched out form my incubator FULL of CHICKEN eggs!

    I really thought turkey eggs would be bigger and speckled for some reason....lol....they used this against me and hid them in PLAIN site in the Chicken Coop!! Evil little hens!!! [​IMG]


    What makes me sick? I have been selling eating eggs [​IMG] Lots of them.............

  3. and why is it sick if your selling eating eggs? fertile eggs dont taste differ unless you incubate them

    EEWWW i just thought of eatig a half incubated egg EWWW

    Because, they are worth 5.00 each unhatched....and 10.00 hatched!

    I am also not sure now if it is a turkey...lol...I have never hatched any

    But I just remembered it takes 28 days...this has been 21.

    It's all a learning experience for me. I am enjoying every minute of it! I do think it may be an EE cross now though...But I love those too!
    I have decided to keep my turkeys in for a couple of days to see what the eggs (if any) look like.

    Would be a hoot if it were a turkey!

    All the turkey eggs I have seen are white to cream colored with speckles of brown, and slightly bigger than a large chicken egg (or at least my rp's are)

    Yeah, That's what I was thinking....but I'm still waiting to see any. My goose started laying just 4 days ago so we'll see...
    I had to laugh at myself....it really looked like what I remembered the poults looking like when I got them....goes to show how good my memory is [​IMG]
