Update, Hatched and mail order together~

Yesterday I recieved 16 chicks mail order. The evening before my Buff Orp hatched her own 8 fuzzy babies. I kept a close eye on Lola as I decided to see if she would mother the new arrivals as well as her own. Complete success! Lola is now very attentive and happy with 24 chicks under her. Quite the sight! She can cover them all but very funny watching one push in on one side and another poping out the other side. Last night it was quite cool in the barn and they all did fine.
I'm so glad it all worked out. Hopefully pics soon
