- update-humidity at 29 cant get it up please help

you get a small cup and put 1/2 a cup of salt in it then you put 1/4 cup of water in it and put the cup in a large zip lock bag, you place the humidity gauge in the bag to beside the cup (dont get it wet) and leave it for about 8 hours , try reading it thru the bag cause it will change pretty fast, when you read it after about 8 hours it should say 75% .....
If it says say 69% you know that you need to add 6% to any readings you take in the futur
If it says say 80% you know that you need to subtract 5% when you take any readings..

I really hope I made sense. this is what I read to do if im wrong im shure someone will correct me.

Thats why its best to get all these things figured out now, eggs a couple days older wont be as bad as putting new fresh eggs in a bator thats not ready for them .
Take a deep breath and enjoy as much as you can this is soooooo cool even if it can be nerver whracking and heartbreaking too.


PS , just in case i miss stuff and you end up putting the eggs in , remmber when you put the eggs in the humidity and temp can change as the eggs become at one with the inside eviroment of the bator , there is no reason to adjust anything unless everything stays diffrent for more then 12 hours . Uless you have a big temp spike that dosnt count , usually what happens to me is my humidity goes up a little and my temp drops into the low 90s as the eggs warm up .

I calabrated both my digital and my other that way so i think its fine ,,,,
