So far doesn't act like a rooster, stays away from the other 2 roosters I have (silkie and OE). No wattles or comb really. should be about 14 weeks old. Was out watching my chickens today and it almost seemed as though the OE rooster was challenging it but I think it was a trick of the eye. Crazy that the 2 roosters will court the other hens but I have not noticed them court this one....yet I hope!! Please let me know your opinions as I do not want this to be a rooster!! Thanks! I will try to get back out there today to get a better shot!

His head feathers look JUST LIKE my golden polish ROO.
The roos usually have this type of head feathering, while the hens tend to have the head feathers like they always had.

If you start to see a small V-comb, you gotta roo.

Can you take a pic of his butt ? like to see the tail feathers too.

That's a roo. With the Polish breeds, the "top hat" feathers are pointed at the tips, and have a sort of dreadlocks appearance. The hens' top hats look more like a 'fro, with rounded tips on the feathers.

well...that is a bummer! we have a total of 20 birds, do you think that if I kept this roo, would 3 roos be too many for this size flock?? btw, here are some more pics...
