They absorb the yolk into their bodies as they hatch and the opening in the abdomine closes up. I am telling you that it has a chance if you do what I say. I have saved a number of peeps that were like this through the years but you have to act quickly to make sure he does not dry out and the yolk get hard.

Don't let the wet towl touch it because it will make it cold. Your bed won't provide enough heat. Do you have a light bulb you can hang over a small box to provide heat? It needs at least 90 degrees or it won't work. Hot water bottles are better than nothing but I would not count on them solving the problem.

If you do decide to let it go to chicken heaven, get starter fluid, get a tub w/lid and add some of the liquid, then add the chick, close lid, wait 10min+ and it will pass in peace.
If you want to keep giving it time, warm large container with holes for fresh air, mid humidity and keep it warm! Heat lamp or something to keep it comfy and not chilly.

Oh trust me my bed is pretty darn heated. The blanket helps too. It's not too hot but koreans can make really good heating beds, which is actually just a matress kinda thing, thinner though and can be taken out easily to switch to other beds. There's no way it'll get cold, well if the blanket is moved then yes it could get cold. I don't have any good small boxes around. My dad explained that mama chickens will reject defective chicks so she may have not been sitting on it because she knew what was going on. My dad said since it's out of the shell it may not live also because I need to feed it.. I dunno about that. I examined it and yes, the intestine is coming out a bit because everytime it moves it moves the intestines and the yolk too.
I guess I could try another few eggs in the summer again if I have any broodies.

Still alive. She peeps in pain though when she moves too rapidly, it moves the yolk and such.

I removed the shell and now she's trying to get up... Peeping lots too. Should I make mama hen noise?

Ughh the yolk is still out!! It's a fighter though.. She's really trying..
