No - chickens don't give off an attitude when they are broody (well, at least not to other chickens - they will certainly have an attitude with you!
) My other chickens were always trying to climb on top of my broody to lay their eggs in the nest where she was - she would growl at them but they ignored her. That's one of the reasons I advocate moving broodies to their own area.
I have no idea why they are being mean to her. Maybe someone with lots more experience than I have will see this post and be able to offer you some real advice in that area.
