Hi guys!

Tonight I put up about 90 flyers in the area and got a call from a man who said he saw him about a mile from the house at a Home Depot flying low and taking breaks, walking. He thought it was odd because he was alone. He ended up flying towards a stream that spans a few townships but isn't more than 5 miles. Should I focus my attention on the stream? Do you think getting a duck caller would work or possibly taking his female friend on a walk by the stream to see if he could hear her?

He was seen at about 5 PM yesterday and has a night alone and is going on his second night. Im worried he is confused about getting home because we do live in a suburban area with lots of neighborhoods. I've been leaving his pool full and his food out every night. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I just want to bring my baby home.

You could try walking the female and see if he recognizes her calls. Just make sure you have her on a good restraint so she can't get away from you.
And yes I would focus on the streams, he's probably looking for other ducks and food. Plus they just love water. Good luck and I hope you find him :hugs

I would definitely take his friend to the stream..there’s YouTube videos on how to make a cheap two strap harness for ducks..so she don’t get loose..hopefully if he hears her he will come find ya guys..this is good news he’s been spotted!! I really hope it works out hun!!

I searched my yard more today and my dog pointed me to the direction of this big piece of egg. Whatever scared him off did that to the eggs
