The chicks are about 4 to 5 weeks old now and I'd say it's safe to assume we have one of each now. The suspected male now has a very bright pink comb and is starting to grow matching waddles. He is also very iridescent. The suspected female is much more matte, has a small, pale/black comb and no waddle growth. Attached are a few updated pics! The suspected male:
